Today it was an Italian sausage, mushroom and Swiss cheese omelette, hash browns (extra crispy, tyvm) and biscuits & gravy.

Two extra large eggs (however), ham, two pieces of buttered toast.

Hippie hash, at the Fleetwood Diner: A big heap (acreage) of hash brown potatoes, topped with chopped up grilled green peppers, onions, tomatoes, broccoli, mushrooms and feta cheese. You can get it served atop corned beef hash, or with gyro meat or tempeh mixed in, or plain. Comes with your choice of various toast types.

Personally, I like the plain version, with a small lake of ketchup on the plate to deep-dip any forkfuls that come up mostly potatoes. Maybe a side of scrambled eggs, too. Plenty of coffee with cream.

Or, if you're trying to hit deficit calories, think about a couple of eggs and some meat with fruit, or oatmeal with reasonable toppings, or something like that.

Tomorrow's breakfast out will be the "guilt-free platter" 1/2c cottage cheese, 2c fruit, poached medium egg and 2 slices of marble rye....and a side of 5 rashers of the best damn bacon ever. All washed down with my weekly cup of coffee that I shouldn't really have but I'm going to anyway. #ulcerbedammed #Ilovemycoffee
