Hey everyone I’m Jenna. Getting healthy has been difficult for me. I’ve been trying to get into shape with a better diet. I’ve cut out soda, stuck to protein and veggies more often than fats. I’m eating between three to four times a day. My water intake has increased over the last month or so. I drink between three to four bottles a day. I’m still learning what all I need to do. I’m 179lbs & my goal weight by the end of the year is 135. I’m open to any suggestions. Thanks!

    Fat isn't bad for you.

    Hi Jenna!

First I’d like to address the misconception about fat... fat isn’t bad for you. There are healthy fats and unhealthy fats. Healthy fats can be found in stuff like nuts and meats, unhealthy fat in processed foods. Eating healthy fats is actually quite good for you.

Also, about eating 3-4 times per day, if that works for you great. I personally only eat 2 meals a day with a few small snacks in between. I do intermitten fasting. I don’t eat after 7pm at night and don’t eat again till at least 10-11am the next day. Intermitten fasting works for some people, and doesn’t work for others. I do recommend intermitten fasting if you can handle it. It makes it easier to stay in a calorie deficit (since you don’t move those meal calories elsewhere) so the weight goes off faster. There’s also other benefits that have been scientifically proven such as: lowering risk of diabetes, heart disease, lowering stress levels, etc etc. It can be hard to do if you’re someone that cannot live without breakfast. I personally have never been a breakfast person so it works well for me.

Anyway, feel free to add me if you’d like to motivate each other :)
