I do something similar with most vegetables, except I toss the veg with olive oil. My first experience with this technique was brussel sprouts. Turns out they are really good, just not boiled. About a year later, someone offer me roasted cauliflower. Again, I had no idea it could be so good cooked, mom's methods just grossed me out.0

How long do you roast the broccoli for? What about carrots, do you part boil them at all?0

Careful. It is tasty but too much often causes gas.

I like adding some hot sauce, buffalo sauce (I can get a huge bottle only 5 cal/tablespoon at the dollar store), or paprika. :'D0
