Hi I had a back injury years ago and 3 hernia operations (last 2 seemed to be too close in between for comfort). I think I may have pushed it a little too much. Since the last one I have tried to do more cardio but even with that I find myself holding the scar area. I know scar tissue takes a long time to get used to, especially in your core region but I was wondering if anyone else had any injuries or surgeries that changed their lives and how you were able to adjust your lifestyle to get back in shape.

I've had a few major surgeries in recent years that changed my life.
I just adjusted my programming for lifting so I could still heal/adjust during training. I didn't really have to adjust my lifestyle per sae, getting back in shape wasn't a goal.
