I'm still not happy about my body

When I started losing weight, I never would have thought that when I reached my weight goal, I still wouldn't like my body. I have moments when I think "I look alright, I did a good job" but times when I stand in front of the mirror and think I should lose a few more pounds
To be honest, i never considered myself fat, just a bit chubby. But once I found out my body shape, apple shape, I decided to lose some weight to be healthier and also like myself more. My parents and friends say I look great, that you can see the weight loss. Some say I am a bit too skinny now. I started at 59 kgs, now being 52 kgs. I lost a lot of fat in my thighs and that's why it may seem to others that I am pretty skinny. I have a bit of thigh gap.
But I still have belly fat and also those love handles. If I didn't have those, I would've loved my body.
Waist: 67 cms, hips 85 cms. Height 168 cms. My bmi is 18,4 which I have read it's underweight
I guess the problem is that i don't have a lot of muscle mass?
I was thinking of getting to 50 kgs just to see how I'd look. What should I do?
Did anyone else go through this as well?

Weight is just a number. What is most important, is that we like what we see in the mirror. On the otherhand what we see in the mirror is not how others see us. Remember you are always your own worst critique.
To me it sounds like you lack the muscle mass to get that fit look. More muscle mass gives a skinnier more toned look. Losing more weight probably won't do much for your belly fat/lobe handles.
I would advise to start gaining some muscle mass again and move from there. Being skinny without any muscles will always give that skinny fat look.
What end goal do you have in mind look wise?3 -
I would recommend doing exercises using weights, doing ab workout etc. Keep your diet in check and do cardio. You will have a good physique.4

Have you had a body scan done? That will give you a starting point. It will show you how much lean muscle mass you’re carrying (and provide other data). I have a feeling you’ll want to build on the muscle mass.1

How old are you, OP? Losing weight when you’re underweight is a bad idea. I fear the problem is more your view of yourself than your body, as I doubt you have much belly fat at that BMI. Strength training and a calorie goal at maintenance (or even slightly above) can certainly be helpful in changing your body composition, and it can make you feel great about what your body is capable of. I hope you’ll be kind to yourself and your body and view yourself realistically.0
