Hello all!
Question: I made a soup from scratch and I have no idea how to figure out the calories. Here's what it is: about three tablespoons of olive oil, garlic, onion, carrot, celery and cubed potatoes with these heirloom beans I purchased dry and soaked overnight then boiled with no salt until they were soft. The beans are called Yellow Indian Woman, from Rancho Gordo. Six cups of water, some salt and a few bay leaves in the soup too. It's super basic but I LOVE bean soups like that. Any idea how to figure out calories? I plan to measure out 2 cup portions for lunches for this week.
Thanks!!!

Use the recipe builder, it'll break down the calories per serving for you.

This. The database may not have those specific beans, but picking a similar variety should be close enough.

Add all the ingredients in recipe builder and measure the weight of the end product. If your soup is 250gr. set the serving size as 250. This will make it easier to weight out exact portions later on.
