Losing Weight but No Size Change

These past two months I have lost 32 lbs. It happened just doing MFP (1500cal/day) and light strength training 2-3 times a week.

I had one question though. After 32 lbs, I measured my belly, and 0 inches change in the belly area, could you share if you have seen something similar or any thoughts on that? My fear is that I am just losing muscle/bone/water etc and no fat. I have one of the scales that "measures" the fat% and it has not changed linearly compared to my weight loss. Any thoughts, experience etc. would really help me!

Height: 6' 3"
SW: 312 lbs
CW: 281.2 lbs
GW: 200 lbs
Waist: 51" all the way

I am female so obviously we are structured differently, but can I reassure you, your body is changing.
It is morphing into a different shape but it takes time.
The fat/water/muscle distribution will differ greatly with each individual.
I started this journey (900) odd days ago at the same weight.
It took me a while to lose any inches off my waist, yet my face slimmed down and my clothes were looser.
Now 120 pounds down, I have times when the scales don’t budge for weeks, yet I can lost inches from my waist.
    Just keep at it.
This is a step by step, day by day process.
    Just remember...
YOU ARE A WORK IN PROGRESS!
    Trust the process!

I am female also. In my experience I found that for me I lost the inches last where I wanted tot lose them the most. Those areas are my bodies preferred storage areas. In the end it did go there as well, but not toward the end of my journey

Congrats on your weight loss! To minimize muscle loss do a progressive strength training program (as opposed to light lifting) and make sure you get adequate protein. There are a lot of great threads around here about choosing a program. You’ll do great!

I am female but have similar start weight (307), however I can't help with measurements because I didn't start that until much later (around 240-250 lb)

One thing I can tell you though - the higher your start weight, the slower you may start changing clothing sizes. I know men's and women's clothing is different, but I wore the same size clothes for a very long time...I think I wore women's plus size 22/24 from the weight range of 230-295 lb and that is a little nuts. But my hips and waist were not much different for that entire span...and then suddenly, those clothes were FAR too big and I absolutely needed new ones - and again and again as I reached my goals along the way. It does happen, eventually!

I think most people tend to see a bigger change all at once and it can happen in a way that seems almost random. And like others have said, sometimes you lose inches in places you want to and other times places you don't necessarily want to. I have a tiny neck and wrists and they just get smaller. My hips not so much! ha

Do you take photos of yourself, whether full body shots or even a face/neck/shoulders selfie? That can sometimes help you to see small changes over time.
