Getting healthy is dang frustrating. I like to think I'm super-motivated to get healthy everytime I walk by a mirror, or when I do a spot-check of my blood pressure. That pseudo-confidence melts into nothing but a barrage of unhealthy choices at some point. Let's see, I've tried my hand at Weight Watchers (a whole bunch of times), My Fitness Pal, and even gone hardcore and did Optavia (a form of Medifast for those unaware). I've set simple goals (this week I'll exercise once) but never realize it. I'm kind of tired of it all.

So I think I'm ready; I think I'm super-motivated, but I certainly fear declaring it too loudly! I really want this time to be the time. Not to build a super physique ... certainly have no desire to start putting on spandex shorts at the beach ... but just to feel more healthy, less tired, happy! Let's do this thing!

Start with small steps. When you consider all you have to do, it can be overwhelming. Set short- and long-term goals. What's your first goal? :)
