This is the one I have. I really, really like it - the ONLY thing I don't like about it is that the writing on the 2 buttons wore off within the first week of use. So while *I* know what buttons to push to get the readings I want, I can't ask my son to help me out by weighing something in ounces unless it's already set to ounces, for example, because he has no idea what button to push to switch the value from one to another. I keep meaning to put a drop of nail polish on the g/kg/oz/lb button to make it easy to distinguish but it's SO minor that I can't ever remember.
Edit to add: I thought of one other thing I don't love about it - if you put a full size dinner plate on the scale pad, you can't read the display unless you duck down low and you practically have to bust out a flashlight to illuminate the numbers. One with a stick-out display would be cool. That said I still love my EatSmart :laugh:0 -
Another EatSmart here -- it's the EatSmart Precision Elite Digital Kitchen Scale. It's great because I can set a dinner plate or a huge, heavy 12" skillet on there and still see the numbers. It's nice.

I saw complaints about the writing in reviews but mine are only slightly faded after 6 months of use, maybe it depends on what you're cleaning them with.0 -
Glad I saw this! I thought food scales would be closer to $100. silly me.0

I use Perfect Portions. I love it.

Edit to include that you can log your daily calories in it. The scale will do all the math for you. I use that function occasionally. You can also modify it to add up to 99 custom foods or recipes and it will store them for you.0 -
I got the Biggest Loser one at BBB for less than $20 ( I like around $16). It has grams, ounces and tare. All I really need right now.0
