Looking for Pemmican/jerky/almond tips
Low-carb dieter here. First and foremost, loving this app. I'm about 10 lbs down.
I've run into a conundrum. Pepperoni and store-bought jerky are awful for sodium. I've made pemmican once in the distant past and want to try my hand again. Any tips for minimizing carbs and sodium when making jerky or pemmican? What's your experience with pemmican?
Secondly, any tips for making almonds more palatable without relying on salt or sugar?
Yes, I have a dehydrator.
