HOW! I’m trying to maintain my weight or even go up a few pounds but want to cut my carbs.
Any tips?

I feel the same way, but like stated you cannot spot reduce, or target a certain part of the body and just magically burn fat. I have a lower tummy pooch too, and I'm on the lighter side for my height.

I'd recommend reading the sticky or consider weight training. You will actually gain weight from this, but the results look the opposite!

Recomp does sound good. I find carbs tend to help me hold water and that sits on my belly. BUT I also found that the belly was the longest to go. It was just flab - there had been fat under there and now there was not. BUT it tightened up with exercise and time. The kind and tissue had to grow back to where they should have been before the fat stretched them out.

We can't spot reduce unfortunately, adding weight isn't going to help. Why the need to cut carbs? its not them that cause belly fat, its excess fat.

Eating at deficit is the only way to lose the tum. Lifting heavy helps.

And yes, check out that nice stomach link above, its really helpful.
