The World's Healthiest Foods by George Mateljan...

I have been using this cookbook to try to build healthier eating habits. I love it because it starts at the very beginning for those of us who are new to cooking and gives tons of quick and simple recipes for fruits, veggies, lean meats, beans and nuts.

If you haven't read it yet I highly suggest it.

Is anyone else out there using it? Perhaps we could share our input recipes. I'd love to hear your thoughts about it as well.

The only fault I can find with it is that he does tend to drown everything in excessive amounts of olive oil - which since I started using this website, I realize has a lot of calories! So I always add less olive oil than he recommends.

I really appreciate the amount of research that went into it and all of the sources he provides for references.
