Beating female hormones?

I’ve tried my entire life to stay with a good active routine, mainly jogging. I find that I get more tired and generally lethargic at certain times during my cycle and it messes up my hopes for regular workouts. Does anyone have any tips that they use personally? Does anyone relate to this??

Pushing through exercise when you feel like this, even if it is a lighter workout than usual, can actually help you feel better.1

I've been like this the last couple of days due to heavy periods and had no energy and been very hungry. In the end I just had to listen to my body, ate more, try and get more iron and rest. Sometimes your body just needs a rest and you have to listen to it. I really wanted to get some exercise in today but I knew I wouldn't have the energy for it.1
