30 Day Shred and Diastasis Recti (unable to do crunches, etc)

Has anyone with DR ever successfully done 30 Day Shred? There are a lot of traditional ab exercises as well as planking, which make DR worse. Of course there are no variations offered (as usual). I'm wondering if I can modify and still get results, and if so, how.

    Before doing 30day shred work on exercises for the DR.

    Your doctor may be able to refer you to a specialist PT or, if that's not in the cards, find the apropriate exercises on line.

    I find planks good. Some say crunches aren't?

    Planks and crunches can make the abdominal separation worse. If your separation is less than 1 finger, planks are fine.

    I third this. After I learned the exercises at physical therapy, I just swapped them in during the video. The gals on the video do crunches, and I do DR exercises for the same length of time. :)
