Not eating all calories

Is anyone else having issues eating the calories the app tells you? The last few days I eat but just not taking up all my calories :| weight loss is very confusing it’s worse than relationship lol

    You > 1200 ? It depends upon your size and activity how much of a calorie deficit you can comfortably keep.
    You < 1200? That's a problem. Eat more.

    If I don't consume them all during the day I make up for it with the weekly totals.

    I have days here and there where i eat well below my calorie level... BUT the next day i am overly hungry and struggle to stay at my recommended calorie level. So, not eating enough inevitably backfires on me.

    Without knowing more, I'll make a pretty general statement...

    Swap out some of the lower cal foods you are eating for higher calorie foods. That way you can get more calories (and nutrients) with the same overall volume of food.

    There's a list somewhere on here of calorie dense foods... hopefully someone will chime in with the link.

    Thanks everyone! I have no idea why but I just can’t seem to eat all those calories.....I will have to keep changing up my foods and see what happens.

    peanut butter is an easy way to add calories with very little volume

    Yep. There's some learning that happens early on for most people, especially as it relates to food/calories. Peanut butter and ice cream are a couple of my go-tos when I need a bump in cals without much more volume.

    Bacon, granola, nuts, cheese, avocado, dark meat chicken, small steak, rice, pasta, butter, peanut butter.

    Ice cream and I don’t get along to often lol not sure if that’s good or bad lol I only eat it once month (if that) usually on a weekend when I have nothing going on lol. But thanks for the food suggestions :)
