Breakfast/question.

My breakfast intake is 243calories (1/2 cup of oat meal mixed with my protein powder, and a banana) then I go to the gym to lift weights and after, run two to three miles. Should I eat more in the morning. My goal is to stay on 1,400 intake for the day.
What do you eat? And how are you able to build muscle/tone?

Whether or not you should eat more is 99% personal preference. If you're able to stay on track with total cals, macros, and feel good during your workouts, then what you're doing is probably fine.
I don't like to eat in the mornings. Actually, that's not true. I like to eat in the mornings. I like to eat all the time. I just love to eat. But to stay on plan, it's easy for me to skip breakfast. I feel better not eating before my workouts, too. But that's me.
As for how to build muscle - higher intensity workouts + calorie surplus (note - building muscle is not the same as gaining strength).
As for how to tone... toning is a function of body fat being low enough to show muscle, and muscle being prominent enough to see. Basically, you have to reduce body fat to where the muscle is visible, but you also have to have sufficient muscle to show off. As such, toning can be more about fat loss for some people, but muscle gain for others. Kinda depends on where you're at and what you want look like (what your idea of "toned" is).4 -

Gaining is just the opposite of losing. To lose, you eat less than you burn. To gain, you eat MORE than you burn.
No different than your bank account. What happens when you save more than you spend? When you spend more than you save?0
