Inside knee pain

I’ve started to notice some pain on the inside of my right knee that has developed over the past few weeks. I do various forms of exercises throughout the week (yoga, weight training, interval training with a step, swimming, judo, elliptical). I am doing more stretching for the knees and icing 2-3 times per day. Any other pro tips that have helped you stave off real knee problems?

Inner knee pain for me was ligament damage.

I would suggest seeing a physio

If you haven't already seen a GP or Ortho then that's the first step. There are way too many different things that can be going on. From nothing more than Glute/IT band weakness/tightness to strain/sprain/torn muscle/ligament.

I found stopping throwing myself off motorbikes at high speed staved off more injuries, but then a car driver got me a low speed....

More seriously - I've have bone, ligament (x3), cartilage (x2), bursar and soft tissue knee injuries. They all needed proper diagnosis and different treatment.

I've had best results/diagnosis/treatment from seeing sports physios rather than going to a GP or even direct to Orthopaedic surgeons. A good Physio will know what's outside their remit and also who are the best specialist knee surgeons if it comes to that.
