No Weight Loss!

Been dieting my whole life! I have lost more weight that you could ever imagine. I am so frustrated not losing weight these days. I am on MFP for 20 days. Just not losing weight. I excersise three times a week 45 minutes each time. 1200 calorie intake. I weigh everything. I measure everything. I mean everything. I have read numerous blogs from members going through the same thing. I went back to last year when I lost weight but that was actually less carries which is not good. I'm going to try less carbs. Don't know what else to do. I am 66 - 5'3" - low exercise.

You have lost no weight? Not a pound?1

Well, if you recently started up a new exercise routine, there's a good chance you're holding onto some water weight as your muscles repair themselves.
It's only been three weeks - be patient!0 -
You're lying.
I don't know which part of your post is bs - whether it's the 1200 calories a day or the fact that you weigh everything, or something along those lines, but those are conditions that pretty much GUARANTEE weight loss.
And even if you weren't, 20 days is peanuts. Come back in another 20 living under those conditions PERFECTLY and then say you haven't lost a pound.
Edit: Open your diary.5 -
Are you lean already? What's your weight?0

Nah... You are very quick in your conclusions and also possibly wrong in your accusations.
When I started exercising my weight was the same four 6 weeks besides the regular deficit. After 6 weeks it all dropped in one go. I lost all the accumulated deficit during the 6 weeks which amounted to 3lbs.
Many, let me repeat, many people here experienced exactly the thing I'm talking about.
Especially if OP is female.
As a female even without exercise my weight drops only twice a month - after period and after ovulation. But my spreadsheets of data are perfectly sound. I lose all the accumulated deficit.

..after you accused the OP in your first sentence that she is lying... quite rudely I might add.3 -

Like you said . . . it's just been 20 days. That's not enough time to conclude that OP isn't accurately recounting what they're doing, let alone that they're being deliberately deceptive. Even if it was more than 20 days, we'd need more information to make that conclusion. There are so many options here that don't involve OP being deceptive.2 -

Harsh... but there are valid points.
It's early days OP. have patience.2 -
OP's profile says she has lost 23 pounds!1

And she's had her profile for two years. She's only talking about the three weeks since she restarted.
OP, if you're truly weighing everything, then give it a few more weeks.2 -
OHFlamingo wrote: »OP's profile says she has lost 23 pounds!
How is that relevant? She says she's been losing weight on and off for a long time.2 -

If 20 days is peanuts, then you cannot logically conclude she is lying. You could be right, but even with your caveat, or especially with it, how would you know?
There are a lot of folks that think they are doing everything right, but are not. In this case, there is no way to know................yet.
