21 Day Fix - Question for those who have used it

I'm super struggling with the whole proper portion control and just knowing how much of what I should be eating.
Years ago I purchased the 21 Day Fix program and just, for whatever reason, never used it. Dug it out of the cupboard and am going to give it a go now because it makes the portioning thing super easy until my food weight scale arrives (will take 2-3 weeks so it'll arrive about the same time I'm done the program! And no, I couldn't find one locally. I live in the middle of nowhere Canada. The primary population is trees, not food scales or useful stores).
I'm liking what I see in it so far. Clean eating is something I've been wanting to move towards for AGES. A diet of strictly vegetables, fruits and healthy protein? I'm down for that... BUT...
As I look at the acceptable foods list for each container I am realizing I cannot have any of the 'orange' food items. I suspect they're there for a reason... fat? Or something... but I'm allergic to every item on that dang list. LOL. The same is almost true of the blue container as well!
What I'm wondering is ... anybody have any suggestions for substitutions for the orange food items and maybe blue food items so I'm not eating goat cheese nonstop.
My allergens include (but are not limited to): Peanuts, tree nuts, anything with the word nut in it, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, probably poppy seeds, bell peppers, wheat, barley (probably not relevant), milk, chocolate. I'm forgetting things but those are the primary foods of concern. (I'm not technically 'allergic' to coconut but am unable to find coconut products locally that don't also contain traces of nuts or other allergens so coconut based products are a no-go).
I know. You're wondering: What? HOW DID YOU GET FAT THEN? I found ways around the allergies and am an excellent baker. I dunno what else to tell you! LOL! Oh, also, soda.
I attempted to contact Beachbody or whomever runs the 21 Day Fix website but their response was: Sorry. Can't help.
Worst case scenario I'll just toss the orange container. I was just hoping maybe someone had an idea and/or that someone who has used this program could give a tip or two.
Thanks in advance!
TL;DR Summary: Any idea for substitutes for the orange and blue containers in 21 Day Fix?
PS: No, this is not a permanent solution for me. It's just to kick start smaller eating portions until I can get a food scale and start measuring properly for myself.

If you give examples of what types of foods are supposed to go in the orange and blue containers, you may be able to get useful suggestions of what you could use even from those who haven't done 21 Day Fix (if you're interested).
If orange does represent fat, don't toss them! You need fat to stay healthy and since 21 Day Fix is already usually a low calorie plan, you probably need those calories as well.1 -
Good idea!
Orange Container 'accepted' foods:
Pumpkin seeds
Sunflower seeds
Sesame seeds
Flaxseed
Olives
Peanuts
Coconut
Olives I can technically have but they make my skin crawl and that's usually a precursor to allergic reaction so I avoid them.0 -

I've been told because of my thyroid issues that I should have a high fat diet but I just have no idea what that looks like!!! I don't really know how to incorporate healthy fats into my meal planning. The person who suggested it to me was trying to sell me something so I just kind of gave up on learning but hey, maybe now I can.0 -
Orange container is "seeds/oils" or "dressings/seeds", blue container is "healthy fats" or "nuts/dairy". Don't let it confuse you. What they want you to do, (but not know), is to eat fat. Dietary fat is important. Many great foods - that I believe, are not on your allergen list - provide fat: Fatty fish, fatty cuts of meat, egg yolk, oils (rapeseed, soy). Eat some of that instead of "lean protein".1

Oh, awesome! For whatever reason my brain wasn't computing what the orange container was FOR. Good suggestions! Thank you.1 -
Looking at Pinterest there are lots of oils and salad dressings on the "orange" list.
Olive oil, coconut oil. Avocado is very high fat.....could you substitute that?
Also form Pinterest - blue container says "healthy fats & cheese." Again, avocado. Hummus and coconut milk is on the list too.

I honestly have no idea how to use Pinterest. LOL. I feel so technologically incapable. Thank you though! I shall attempt to figure out how to navigate the bulletin board of the internet!1
