Hi from Southern Maryland

Hi ladies! I'm Sheila. I'm 52 and over the last year I have lost 31 pounds. I was using an app called LoseIt but after joining that one a friend got me started here. I think I like MFP better.

I'm learning to eat healthier and be more active. My A1c is normal for the first time in 4 years.

One challenge for me is that while I need to lose weight, my disabled wife needs to gain. Another challenge is that I work 2 jobs so cooking normally is interesting.

Each month at my part time job a couple of co-workers and I do a wellness challenge. February was no sugar. March is no bad carbs. So far there's been 2 slip ups.

I joined the gym today. Now just to learn to use the equipment!
