I'm not really just starting, I've been doing this since Sept. 2017, but I have a question. I can't decide whether I'm sedentary or lightly active. I work retail in a farm store, so on any given day I could be sitting at a desk for a chuck of the day, walking about helping customers, or in the warehouse loading 50 pound bags of grain. Most days I'm moving about helping customers and sitting at a desk. I kinda feel I'm in the middle of the 2, "very lightly active", lol... In till recently when I put myself on maintenance for a month, I had been losing weight, I have it set as lightly active now.
What are your thoughts?

Sedentary is like literally being on your *kitten* all day.

I feel like I'm "in between" sedentary and lightly active as well. I work a desk job, but make sure to get 2 10/15 minute walks in every day while at work. Plus at home can either be doing cooking, cleaning and housework, or sitting on my duff watching TV. I have maintained my current weight netting about 100 calories or so over the "sedentary" maintenance mark, but I know the lightly active mark would cause weight gain for me. So, I keep my goals set to sedentary, and I log any purposful excercise outside of my normal routine. I figure my in between activity level gives me a buffer zone for logging errors, and busting a little over my goal now and then.

On my day's off, I do nothing but sit on my fanny all day, the only "exercise" I do is walking down the hall to do my laundry... On those day's I keep my calories under 1700, (1900 is my normal daily amount).

I would put lightly active. I chose sedentary for mine because I'm literally sitting at work from 8-5 pm with a little walking when I go to the restroom or the kitchen. But i do go to the gym every day for at least 1 hr.
