I'll keep it brief so its not too bleh,
Started off at a fairly high weight and my loss has been steady. I am on a high protein diet and am always within my macro, under my calorie count, and work out everyday taining different body areas.
So to keep myself occupied and to up my level of daily physical activity I volunteered to help backstage at my local theatre. Lots of running on and off stage, wheeling heavy trucks and props etc etc.
My issue is that since I started this I have gained a kilo in five days... my measurements are the same and my clothes are comfortable, is this possible muscle gain or is somethng going terribly wrong?

Likely water. The scale can move in mysterious ways. Added activity and weight gain is a regular complaint here. You can’t gain a kilo in five days.
If you keep eating in a deficit, you shouldn’t gain at all in the long run.

A friend likes to say, we always get the weigh in we deserve, but not necessarily when we expect it.

    Weight does not equal fat.
