I can step on and off my scale and get different readings. I can weigh and then go to the bathroom and then weigh again and get the same reading or even higher. Various different readings that don't match the circumstances. This is a fairly new scale. Do I need to get a new one or do you guys have any suggestions to tighten up this one?
It weighs in .2# increments.

Is your scale positioned on a hard and flat surface?

In that case do continue using it and follow @Tiny_Dancer_in_Pink's advise

Also, maybe log in a trend app such as Libra or Happy Scale if you want to weigh daily. But for consistency's sake: Wake up, go to the toilet, weigh nude (or near enough, again, for consistency's sake) & log.

Mine does the same thing at times. I have found if I clean off the feet and make sure I step on it in the same place it is more consistent. Floors are often uneven and any dirt etc. on the bottom of the feet can affect how it weighs. Also if your batteries aren't fresh it can cause inaccuracies. If it is fluctuating more than a pound then I would consider replacing it if none of the above helps.

If it's a digital scale I use a aria I found have to leave it flat on hard surface don't move it alot. When I moved it everyday the first reading would be about 2lbs off. Would weigh once, then do two more times right after that and the second and third time the numbers would be .2 within each other so that was what considered the true weight.

Thank you. I don't have a good out of the way spot to leave it, so I have to slide it back and forth from under the bed, so it may very well be collecting dirt on the feet.

    Thanks all.

    It weighs in .2# increments.

    This is what i do.
I keep a 25 pound weight next to my scale. And before i step on scale i calibrate it. Because my scale like yours seems to rremember what i weigh. Even,if i go to the bathroom in between. So in,order to prevent that i calibrate before i weigh myself every time.
