Long journey

I am new to this whole diet thing but after being so sick so long I found out I had endometriosis. I had surgery for that and felt so much worse for the first few weeks from constipation as a side effect of the surgery. I started a thing called truvision which is 2 pills twice a day everyday and I also started a low carb diet. I am not very good at this as I crave things like kit Kate and tootsie rolls. I also love toast so that is another thing I always find myself eating when I shouldn’t be. I am also a person who hates always sitting home so I am always on the go with my little man and that makes it hard too because I take him out to eat and I end up eating as well. It’s almost as if I need someone constantly following me around and telling me no to high carbs!

I wish you well. Use the food database to truthfully log a week or two of everything. The magic happens in your own head and it will happen when you see what your food is doing to you.0

Focus on what you CAN eat, rather than what you are missing. Acknowledge the toast, turn away from it and choose a veg that you like.
It also helps me to decide under what conditions I can have some of those things I no longer eat regularly. That way, I know they aren't prohibited, they just aren't for today. Like I can have toast when I have a five mile hike planned because it will fit my goals.
For running around, I pack my lunch every morning and keep protein bars in my backpack. I often prelog, so having something off plan would require me to delete that work.0 -
My daughter suffers servers endometriosis so I sympathise. It is a crippling and debilitating condition.
A gluten free diet is recommended as it can add inflammation, bowel issues and bloating.
Complex carbs are quite okay.
Enjoying a wide range of delicious food will help you to stay on track and ensure good nutrition.
There is no Bad food, so focusing on what you can’t have is self destructive.
Take this journey a step at a time.
A day at a time.
You will get there.
Just stay focused and trust the process.2
