Hi guys. Last year in January I weighed in at 160kg with only 6 months to lose 60kg. I used this site at times for help but never regularly but understood the concept of cut calories lose fat. I went slightly crazy and even though I wasn't suppose to cut so low because it can be dangerous I aimed for 1000-1200 calories a day mon-sat whilst on Sundays eating whatever the f I wanted haha. Before I knew it I lost 9 stone 60kg in about 6 months. I went to the gym once or twice a week. Just weights to help boost the metabolism. People are shocked that I said I never jogged once. I wanted to prove that you can make life changing things happen with mainly focusing on cutting down calories.
Since then I have put on around 8/10 pounds. Hence why iv jumped onto this hype again I am going to aim to lose 30 pounds from now but there is no rush this time and I won't cut my calories as much as I did last year.
Few tips for people who want to shed lots of weight which helped me. Firstly. People say it gets easier but it doesn't. U will feel the pain most days. It doesn't get easier. But saying that my number one motto which I repeated to myself every day whilst on the journey was "time flies". And it does! Once u fight the pain and hit target you aim for you will sit back and say wow that time flew by. Use that for motivation. Fight the battle long and hard and you will achieve ur goal.
Another thing I noticed was that on the scales weight was flying off. But visually ... it took my friends and family 3 months to see a big difference. Weight loss on scales happens quick. But visually give yourself time. Don't give up because once ur on that train and time passes weight will disappear rapidly month by month after the first 2/3. Your body will take time to change and adapt to your new weight even though the scales show you results faster. Stay calm stay motivated and trust me. Time flies. Before you know it you will completely change your life for the good and it's worth it. You got this!
