Has anyone quit smoking while losing weight? If so what are some of the things y’all have done to make it happen?

I did it many years ago as a young man, but perhaps this is still relevant: I totally switched from smoking to exercising. At the time, I had taken up cycling and I just decided that I didn't want smoking to slow me down. I found quick improvement, which I hope would be the case for anyone at any age.

Recommendation: take up something you find fun that is significantly improved by not smoking. Dancing, hiking, walking, jogging, bicycling, swimming, horse back riding, singing. Sign up for some paid program and don't be stingy, you're going to save a lot of money in the long run!

    Best resolve to you!

I quit smoking cigarettes about a month before I started losing weight. I used an e-cig. I also started exercising which helped. I eventually got of the e-cig by reducing the nicotine every couple of months until it was at zero..once it was at zero I just stopped reaching for it as much and finally not at all.
