Hi guys! I'm new here & looking for any tips/recipes from fellow vegans! Just because something is vegan doesn't mean it's healthy... French fries are a perfect example of this :p

I've felt like my go to meals are becoming boring. I've only been vegan 3.5 months so I welcome any tips on recipes, motivational YouTuber's you guys follow, or websites, etc. Any help is appreciated!!

Anyone is also welcome to add me for motivation, vegan or not. Thanks, have a beautiful day! <3

Happy Herbivore cook books are great, and she does meal plans that you can purchase as well. Minimalist Baker is fantastic! Pinterest is also great for ideas. I personally don’t connect to most of the vegan YouTube community as it can feel preachy or get bogged down in arguing over whether raw or no oil or high carb or ... is better.

Hey lets not hate on the french fries! They are perfectly fine as part of an overall balanced diet! The modest potato is next to no fat, is a good source of vitamin C and B6 and is only around 80 calories per 100g. If you bake your fries with a little spray oil rather than deep frying them, you can cut out a lot of the excess calories.

Instagram has some great vegan/plant based options, I am not vegan myself but like to have plant based meals quite often.

Without knowing what "go-to meals" are boring to you, I will say that I've found Pinterest to be a good source for vegan recipes.
