I’ve tried several, this one I like the most:
Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Organic Plant Based Vegan Protein Powder

I’ve done Vega and Orgain and I prefer Orgain. Decent flavor, not chalky, blends well even when you just do a shake and not a smoothie (I usually do a smoothie with fruit and veg, but sometimes just toss it in my blender bottle).

For awhile my favorite was orgain and vega, but I recently tried OWN and it blew me away.

Best vegan protein I've ever had and I've tried them all. I absolutely LOVE the coffee and dark chocolate. I really like that it uses pumpkin protein because I am a huge pumpkin fan and it really gives it a wonderful taste compared to the powders made of ONLY soy or pea. https://liveowyn.com/

I like vega but most people say its kinda chalky. It helps to blend it with a banana

Just a comment here; the only vegan protein I’ve tasted was sun warrior and it was pretty gross IMO. I returned it. If I ever try another vegan protein powder it would be either Vega sport or NOW pea. No idea on how those taste though.

I like to start with the basics and make my own blends. Brown rice protein is pretty mild. I also keep PB2 around; just know it will add a peanutty taste (why not?). I find debittered brewers yeast too bitter. I think that spirulina is fascinating but I haven’t tested it.

For flavourings Stevia drops with vanilla are pretty good. I got a hazelnut sugar free syrup on sale that I plan on testing out.

Sun warrior is terrible. Owyn is the best tasting I've tried. Super smooth creamy and delicious with no strange aftertaste. I used to think vegan powder was all just "ok' until I tried it. I just wish was available cheaper and at more stores and I would buy more often.

I'm a huge fan of Sunwarrior Classic. I absolutely hate the taste of stevia, so I'm more than happy to use the plain variety. I can't have it by itself, however. It's leagues better than other vegan powders *cough* Vega *cough*, but it's still too gritty to enjoy with just almond milk or filtered water.

Speaking of Vega, I was stuck on Protein & Greens in Vanilla for the longest time, but ditched it as soon as I found Sunwarrior. I think Vega taught me to dislike stevia, because all of their products seem to have it in spades.

You might also want to look for Oriya. The company is based here in Austin, so I'm not sure of how far their reach is yet. It's the smoothest, best-tasting vegan protein powder I've ever tried. The owner's mother did a demo at Whole Foods, and let me try it. It's by far the best powder this side of whey. Might be worth a try.

If you hated Sunwarrior, you're going to loathe Vega. Which Sunwarrior powder did you try? Depending on what you get, it can be awesome, just okay, or completely disgusting.

I generally think Vega is decent. But I splurged on Moon Juice and it is the best. Works well in a blender bottle, so that's a pro for me. If you eat a small serving if oatmeal, you’ll want a few extra ingredients e.g. nut milk to balance it out. But in Oatmeal with water it is lacking. In nutmilk alone, it is yummy. Maybe with some vanilla extract too. :D

I think it depends on what you like. Some people like sweeter things and are okay with artificial sweeteners, and vega can work fine for those people. Other people don't.

I hate sunwarrior, and I have vega on most days. I like orgain better, but in a deficit, i'd generally prefer a meal replacer like vega complete over something that's just protein.

I use Holland & Barratt Soya Protein Isolate powder. It tastes of nothing and is really low in carbs and fat.

Kos Naturals or Orgain. MRM and Naturade weren't bad, but I definitely agree with the opinions that Vega is chalky/gritty.

I like Spirutein protein powder. It comes in delicious flavors like Cookie Dough, Peanutbutter, Cherry, Strawberry....I get it at Natural Grocers where you can find also single serve pouches if you want to try out a flavor before buying the whole tub. Another good one is Clean Machine protein powder (just online, sorry). It tastes awesome.

Watching this thread with interest. I still do whey protein, but I'm starting to think I may some level of dairy intolerance. So just watching
