Balancing Caloric Intake Throughout the day

My weight loss had really slowed recently though I knew that the calories were where they needed to be. So I dropped them by 200 per day and not much changed. This past week I tried balancing my calories better throughout the day and added 2 more snacks (now eating 6 times per day) and boom first near 1 pound loss in a couple of months. Anyone else found this helpful, or is it merely coincidental?

It could be coincidence, it could be better adherence to logging/calorie deficit.

Probably coincidental. There are lots of studies showing that meal timing and meal frequency don't really matter when it comes to weight loss.

I prefer stacking my calories later into the day so I can enjoy a nice larger dinner in the evening. When I have many small meals spaced throughout the day I tend to feel hungrier.
