What is important for weight loss is a caloric deficit, simply put you need to eat less calories than you are burning.
If you have set up MFP to lose weight, have set a reasonable rate of loss and log accurately sticking to your calorie goal then you will lose weight. There doesn't seem to be an awful lot of fat in your diet outside of the milk, which won't impact weight loss directly but a little more fat might help you to feel fuller for longer.
Calories are the most important thing for weight loss, what you eat is more important for nutrition, health & satiety.5 -
As long as what you're eating results in a calorie deficit, yes. Just like you've been told before.7

That's too rigid and unsustainable. Eat fruits and vegetables, either skip a meal or eat in smaller portions, and find protein through a little bit of meat every day. Keep your diet as natural as possible.7

Definitely just dump the protein shake stuff, that's all I'm saying. Especially before bed. It's not being burned in a workout so it'll just turn into fat. Work out if you wanna bulk, you've got the nutrients you need already, it's just that it's going towards building fat rather than building muscle.9

If the protein shakes aren't putting him in a surplus, he won't gain fat from it.2 -

That all sounds fine but have you tried logging it here ? just to get a handle on the amount of calories you are actually consuming because that is the key to weight loss - eating at calorie deficit.1
