I have an old Aria scale that has been nothing but trouble since about 6 months after buying it. I find it weird that on my tile floor if I put it on one tile there is a difference of about 5 pounds than if I place it on another tile. Is it normal for scales to do that? Is there a type of scale that would be better, more reliable and more consistent? Im wondering if an old style scale would be a better option as opposed to the digital. Any recommendations?

I would move it to a flatter location. Scales do not weigh correctly on uneven flooring or carpeting.0

Sounds like the wonky floor is the problem, not the scales.2
