Gaining weight/getting toned

Hey, I’ve lost a lot of weight that was not planned due to stress and not eating as much as I should but I want to gain about 2 stone and I’m doing exercises for toning. If ur on the same goal let’s motivate each other?

How are you doing exercises for toning? Just so you know, as you progressively gain weight you are going to lose muscular definition across your entire body.1

Gaining weight and obtaining muscle definition (if that's what you mean by toning) are typically opposite goals. Focus on gaining weight and building mass, then worry about the toning after. What kind of exercises/program are you doing?2

Who designed the program? I would make sure it is from a reputable source, a well rounded progressive program for hypertrophy/muscle building0

Definitely want to exercise, in particular lifting (unless of course you are under the care of a doctor who has recommended you do not). This will help some of the weight gained be muscle vs all fat1

Probably not the most optimal program. What are your goals? Do you have access to equipment or a gym? Here are some programs that are very effective. Popular ones for women include Strong Curves, Thinner Leaner Stronger, New Rules of Lifting for Women, etc.
