Thoughts on fasting and Juice Diets?

I've personally never done these types of dieting but I've seen some friends here do them and had progress. I thought about trying them but I'm still unsure. Would like to know how other people feel about these 2.

Intermittent fasting (i.e. eating within a certain window of the day) works for some people. So long as they're eating in a sensible calorie deficit, it's safe.
Other forms of fasting are harmless for a day or so, but too much can lead to excessive hunger and binging.
Juicing is pretty useless. You lose mostly water weight, which you put back on as soon as you stop juicing. It's not a sustainable way of eating and it's hard to get adequate nutrition. You almost certainly won't get enough fibre.2
