Fitbit Charge 2 not pairing with app

Hi all

I know this has probably been asked before so I do apologise but hoping someone out there can help me with my new god forsaken Charge 2.

I received it yesterday, it pair with my existing fitbit account perfect but still showed all the data from my old fitbit charge hr which I didnt want. I spoke to Fitbit support who suggested to setup a brand new fitbit account with a different email address so I’d have no data from my old fitbit, I did this, setup a new fitbit account, my old one was marked for deletion and now my new fitbit will not pair with the app! I get as far as “we’ve found your tracker”, I enter the 4 digit pin, it says “connecting to fitbit” then I get the dreaded error message of “This operation couldn’t be completed”.....

I’ve tried every trouble shoot there is on the fitbit forums, I was online to fitbit support yesterday but then I had to end the chat as I had to leave work but even they were just giving me the same trouble shooting advice!

Has anyone else had this issue and was able to resolve it somehow?

    My issue has been resolved, they are sending me out another new one! I hope this one isnt faulty too as I’ve actually missed my fitbit
