I have been using this app, as well as the MyPlate app to track my calories and fitness. My daily calories goal is 1200. I noticed that the default goals/limits for fat, sugar, sodium, etc are different on here than on the other app. Does anyone have any recommendations for goals for micronutrients for a 1200 calories diet? Do you just use the default goals on the app? I was doing that, initially, until I noticed that different apps suggest different goals. Im not sure what to follow. Thanks!! :)

Micro or macro goals? Shouldn't micros be 100% RDA unless there is a deficiency?

Most apps will give you a macro goal based on a range (e.g.: 10-30% carbs, 40-50% protein, 30-40% fat). What you choose is up to you and your preferences. Folks who follow keto will have a lower carb ratio than folks who don't. Weight lifters need more protein than sedentary folks, so it's not a one size fits all. Go with what works for you and what is sustainable.

Re: micronutrients, these are usually also in a range but the differences between apps shouldn't be too off base. Again, go with what works.

I did find this site re: micronutrients - http://www.micronutrientcalculator.org/agegender.aspx - not sure if it will be helpful or not
