Can’t kneel properly - what exercises?

When I kneel I can’t sit back properly so my *kitten* is touching my feet. I just don’t seem to have the range of movement, even if my hips are extended. What’s the problem- is it hamstring/quad? What exercises can I do to make it more supple and comfortable so I can actually kneel properly ?!

Where do you feel is limiting you? Is there pressure in your knees? Do you have thick thighs & calves?0
