This tuna salad recipe is truly to die for. I imported the recipe into MFP and it calculates per serving as follows:

Calories: 140
Carbs: 5g
Fat: 9.3g
Protein: 8.7g

Note: I did not add capers, celery or parsley since I didn't have it on hand.

I agree with @crazyravr - how did you get 140 cal for the recipe? Did you break this up into multiple servings? In my top of the head calculations even at lowest cal options, tuna would be 100 cal for 5 oz serving (in water), cottage cheese would be 60 cal (non-fat version), and Mayo would be 70 cal (lite mayo version). That right there is already 230 calories for three of the ingredients.

Sounds yummy though... I like Dijon in my tuna. I usually use cottage cheese, too, but hold the mayo when I make tuna salad.

The recipe looks and sounds good. I don't do dairy much so I couldn't use the cottage cheese or regular mayo, I use Hamilton's just mayo it's non dairy and I have used mustard before. I'll have to give it a try. Thank you for posting and sharing.

Nice recipe; thanks! I like to stuff my tuna salad (or tuna and egg salad) into a green pepper with the top cut off, instead of putting it on bread. Very portable if you are taking a lunch to work, and no bread to get soggy! Just remember a fork.

The real question...can you really say that you followed a recipe if you omitted 30% of the ingredients?
