Anybody know where I can get some free (or cheap) audio books?

Either downloadable to computer, and then I can transfer them on my phone - or heck I imagine there's probably an app for your phones these days!....

I think I would like that for treadmill time, may help me go longer if I'm into a good story....

Thanks in advance!

Try the local public library. I've been checking out/downloading audio books for a couple years now, and LOVE IT!!

I make my own fake audio books by ripping the audio from my DVDs. It works best with movies that have a ton of dialogue, obviously. Fight Club was my first one and it's fun to drive around with that one blaring through the stereo speakers.

Library is a great suggestion. If you want an app on your phone you might look in to Audible http://www.audible.com/
I use it and love it on my Droid phone. I believe you can either buy single books or sign up for so many downloads in a month or something. Sometimes they have freebies.

    "Read" on!
