When I don’t weigh myself weekly is it normal to panic about gaining weight. I am getting used to not worring about weighing with the number fluctuations.

When you're used to weighing yourself daily/weekly it's normal to feel a bit stressed when you're trying to move away from that.
Try not to focus on the scale so much and try using another method of tracking your progress. I like to use body measurements (hips, waist, arm etc.) Knowing what's happening to your body should help you worry about gaining weight less.0 -
It is common, but not healthy. With all the things that can make your weight fluctuate, for exampe mentrual cycle alone can contribute to as much as 7 lbs and a salty meal the day before can make you hold equally much in water, you shouldn't worry too much about it in the short term. Give it some time, if the weight is still up in 3 weeks you can start to worry, but if it suddenly spikes that is not fat0

How you feel and what you see is all that matters the scale is only a number means very little and it's nothing to fear or panic over good or bad.0

Never use the scale as a measure of success or failure. The number on the scale doesn’t determine fat loss or fat gain. There are a lot of variables that cause weight fluctuations. It’s better to use body measurements and progress pictures. In the last month I have only lost maybe 3 pounds and during that time my weight fluctuated quite often, but have dropped two pant sizes so the scale is a no-no in determining success.2

Normal for some, not for others.
I weigh myself once a week. I can't say that it has ever happened that I missed a weekly weigh in and felt panic that I was going to gain because I log my food intake and know I am not going to gain a bunch of fat if I stick to my calorie goal. The scale going up or down isn't that emotional for me.
It can be beneficial to mark your progress more than one way so you don't get hung up on the scale number. Measurements and progress photo, fit of clothing, improving fitness, improving health markers for example.1 -
Have you got a food scale yet, and are you using it to weigh all your food? Are you logging accurately and staying in a deficit consistently? If so, then no you shouldn't panic.4

Don't obsess about the scale. How are your clothes fitting? Measure yourself once a month and see the inches go.1
