Hi Guys! I am 20 & am weighing at 185, 5”4 right now . I bought a cycling indoor bike and my goal is to use it atleast 3 times a week I burn 300calories in an hour and I’m trying to up my calories to lose around 400-500 in an hour . I’ve never been small and I am trying to get to my goal weight of 140 . Sometimes it’s hard to stay motivated with being in school and family eating take out , there is a lot of temptations but I’m trying to stay strong and I wanna be healthy and look good . If anyone would like to share advice or maybe if anyone else who has lost weight by cycling can share their journey with me ? Thank you in advance !

Even my extra butt padding has never been enough for me to cycle to burn calories so kudos to you.
My advice is log everything, drink lots of water, have foods you're ready to eat before the takeout ends up in front of you, and at some point find a way to add resistance training (weight lifting) to your activities. Adding muscle will increase your metabolism and make you look and feel better.2 -
You're juggling a lot, so I'm super impressed that you've made the commitment you have. Way to go!!0
