Rethinking food

One thing I've found extremely helpful with this life change was to redefine the way I think of food. I've begun to think of food as fuel. Per example you wouldn't put cheap low grade gasoline in a souped up muscle car because if you did it would still run but it wouldn't run as smoothly or efficiently. I want my body to run efficiently so I feed it what it needs. Do I indulge in the occasional treat? Sure but not often. I like to keep my food about 85 to 95% healthy and non processed. Sometimes I fail but always in the back of my mind I think about what I can be doing to do better, function better, be the best possible version of myself. Just some food for thought. Have a great weekend everyone :)

My car doesn't care how tasty the gas is. Unfortunately, I do.
