Problem with recipe nutrition info

I entered a recipe that included Great Value Low Cholesterol Low Fat Cream of Chicken Soup. When I search the soup by itself on the database, the nutrition information matches the can. However, when I add the can of soup to the recipe, it lists significantly different nutrition information. One example is it changes the sodium content from 410 mg per serving to over 1200 mg. Is there a way to fix this?

Might be per serving vs per can

It seems like it's probably doing the math for the entire can rather than 1 serving. Is this the nutrition label of your product? https://tinyurl.com/ydcmdq4t If so, it should be somewhere around 1,000 mg of sodium for an entire can.
2.5 servings x 410 mg sodium = 1,025 mg sodium in the entire can.

Instead of choosing the "1 container" option in your recipe, choose the 0.5 cup (125g) option and enter 2.5 servings instead. That should give you the right math. I saw an entry for this product where someone had entered that an entire can had 3 servings in it, which would give over 1,200 mg of sodium. Do you use a scale? If possible, I would weigh what you use. I often find that there's less product in soup cans than stated on the label. Usually closer to 2 servings. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I'll try that. The can says 2.5 servings, and when you multiply that by the 410 mg per serving it still doesn't come out the the amount of sodium for the whole can. I guess it really doesn't matter because I will know I did not consume that amount of sodium. Thanks for the help!
