Not sure if this is the right place to post regarding this.
I have been losing weigh, so far, about 30lbs, and I work out, cardio and strength training. I have noticed recently, that my "saddlebags" are more pronounced. Never really had an issue before, but now they are THERE!!
Anyone else with a similar issue? Thoughts, ideas?

It's because you've lost more fat from elsewhere on your body thus making them more pronounced.
The same thing happened with my belly...my belly seemed bigger after losing weight, but in reality it was a bit smaller but I had lost a lot more weight from elsewhere. I didn't see anything dramatic in my mid section until the last 10-15 Lbs or so.
You just keep going...eventually, they'll catch up.2 -
Yup, what everyone else has said. My love handles are the last thing to go, and they get really prominent as I trim down elsewhere, but I know eventually they will have to start to give it up as well LOL.2

My theory would be that as you lose weight the skin isn't as stretched to squeeze the fat evenly so gravity sort of does its thing and collects it as saddlebags. Also, as cwolfman13 said, fat doesn't go away evenly, so you will lose from some places before others. They will go away once you lose more0

Agree to all above. It's quite annoying that fat isn't used up (or stored) in an always flattering way. And worse, if I have a cheat weekend, the fat can suddenly balloon at my lovehandles and really discourage. But take some comfort in the fact that there is much evidence that storing fat more on hips, butt, and thighs correlates to reduced risk in many diseases.
