Hi guys
been working on my fitness for last few months and down about 50lbs so far. Was wondering how often everyone weighs themselves and when you do it? I would have thought first thing in a.m in your (very lightweight) PJ's.
Would like to hear
Regards

Everyday, in the morning after going to the bathroom, in nothing, tracking on a trending app4

Every day. Right after the morning restroom visit. In my underwear. Record and track on Libra (trending app)0

thanks for replies. if you're dropping 2lb a week, do you actually see (approx) 0.3lbs per day difference?0

No. Weight doesn't tend to drop evenly - your weight is affected by many factors, many that you can't control. Get a trending app - it'll even out fluctuations over time and show your general trend2 -
I weigh every other day. While I was losing and was positive i was in a calorie deficit every day, I ignored anything but a new low reading. I always saw a drop of roughly the expected amount over time. In other words, after 6 weeks of losing a pound a week, the lowest I had seen was about 6 pounds lower. Now I ignore anything except a weight of range.1

I'm a daily weigher and watch trends, I have a maintenance range of +/-5lbs but I wouldn't alter my eating/exercise unless I was seeing over or under than range for more than 4 weeks.1

I weigh every am after using the bathroom and take everything off. I "officially" log my weight on Monday mornings.0

No. I weigh and log daily, and the graph looks like a mountain range with peaks and valleys. That's where the trending app is useful. It gives a long term view of your progress.
