I haven’t lost anything in a couple weeks. I’ve been working out 5-7 days a week. Weights, cardio, crossfit workouts, bike rides.... what am i doing wrong? I’ve gotten lazy on tracking my food so I’ll start doing better with that, but how do you successfully build muscle while losing fat? Without going crazy ready a million different articles, all with different information

Your food tracking, or lack thereof, is the reason behind your stall. Get back on that and make sure it's as accurate as possible (food scale, recipe builder, etc.).

It's extremely difficult to impossible to build muscle and lose weight at the same time. But keep lifting so you can retain as much muscle as you can while you lose.

I know for me that when I was working out a ton, I was burning way more calories then I was allowing myself to eat. I stopped losing and someone here told me I wasn't eating enough @ 1300 calories. I increased my calorie intake and the weight started coming off again. Without tracking and weighing your food though, you will never truly know how much you are eating, so start there, because you could be eating more than you need.

When you are exercising a lot, it's easy to let your eating get away from you if you don't keep an eye on things. Get your logging on point and think about whether you may be exercising too much - if you're tiring yourself out so much that your activity the rest of the day is suffering, that can be canceling out a lot of your calorie burn from exercise. Plus, if you've been changing things up your muscles might be retaining water for recovery. Diet really has to be your main focus for weight loss.

Gaining muscle is very difficult, especially for women, and especially when you're losing weight. You can still maintain muscle and increase strength, though, so that's a big plus. Good luck!

Not even steroids will help you build much muscle in a deficit but what you will find is by strength training while you lose fat allowing your body to keep lean mass vs lose an unnecessarily disproportionate amount; you may not have to "build" muscle.
