Eggs for Breakfast??

I'm trying to cut back on carbs and sugar and don't know what I can use to substitute for eggs? I see they are the main source of most healthy breakfasts out there. I literally gag when I smell an egg and cannot for the life of me eat one. Any other breakfast ideas that are low carb would be greatly appreciated!

Plain greek yogurt, mixed with fruit. I like to mix flavored protein powder in mine, too.

Any protein you like can be eaten any time of day.

You don't need special breakfast food.

If you don't like eggs, eat something else low carb. Avocado and cottage cheese is tasty, for example (to my taste, anyway), but there are a million things, like what you might have for lunch.

I actually have a piece of chicken breast and avocado (pretty minimal carbs) - the high fat and high protein keeps me full for so long and then allows me to structure more of my carb intake pre/post lifts

Have you tried them scrambled with Worcestershire sauce? I seemed to do better with an egg that is scrambled and is spiced up with salt/pepper/lemon pepper. Other than eggs, my go to is cottage cheese with blueberries.

Thanks for the suggestions! I didn't exactly word my question right. I just don't like eggs and needed something that is low carb and low sugar. I do like yogurt and cottage cheese. I was having toast and turkey sausage, but every day I noticed I was overloading on carbs (and sugar). So I'm trying to replace the toast with something else.

There's nothing that says you have to eat "breakfast foods" for breakfast.

Eat whatever you like that suits your tastes and nutrition/calorie goals.

Is there a medical reason you need to reduce carbs?

A few ounces of cold leftover chicken or steak slathered with guacamole (or cut into sticks and dipped in it). If I'm feeling fancy and have them on hand, I'll top with a slice or two of a juicy campari tomato. It's like avocado toast except the toast is meat. ;)

I'm also a big fan of the already mentioned greek yogurt and cottage cheese.

I have the same problem OP, lol. I used to be able to eat eggs in the morning, now... nope. I can tolerate scrambled or fried eggs but not first thing in the morning, but forget omelets now. Go figure. Too many of them in the last 5 years I guess?

Leftovers are great, I had ribs for breakfast the other day... it doesn't have to be breakfast food (most breakfast foods don't fill me up anyway). That being said, I often need some kind of carb in the morning or I'm not satisfied or sluggish.

Low sugar low carb leaves you fats and proteins. Bacon. Cheese. Jerky.

I like the idea of the avocado.
