searching for birth mother

im in the infant stage of finding my birth family, and obviously have a looooong way to go, and much research. i was wanting to know if there is anyone else out there that has done this and been successful at finding blood family..how did you do it..im just trying to get more ideas on where and how to start..:flowerforyou:

    Yes I have. Both myself & my brother are adopted. I traced my birthmother when I was 23. I'd orginally started to at 18 when I was pregnant with my daughter, but then decided against it at that time. I decided to go through the process at 23.

    I'm from the UK so I can only talk about the adoption system here. I couldn't see your location?
