HELP! I need a new Food Scale...

Hey MFP'ers,

I think I need a better food scale. The one that I have is a manual bowl type. What food scales are you using that you've found to be accurate?

I don't know if my food scale is accurate. I kinda think that a digital scale may be more accurate as this one is manual. Literally, you have to make sure the bowl is empty and stationed at zero via a manual adjuster.

I've been through 6 of them and they were always fine. I just get mine on Amazon (or at Target if I can't wait a day).

I like the Oxo scales. Good features. Very reliable.

Make sure it can hold a lot. So you can put a pot on it, zero it and start adding things. Make sure it has a tare (zero) button and a screen you can still read when a plate or pot is on it. Last one is the only drawback of the one I have, I have to push the plate back a bit to read the scale.

I have this one. It's super thin, light weight, easy to store (although I use mine so often, I normally leave it on the counter). Measures perfectly. Wipes off easily. No complaints.
