So to lose weight you have to burn cut 500 too 1000 calories from your diet. My maintance weight is 1500 so how do I cut/burn enough calories but still have at least 1200 per day like you're supposed too?

According to a post you made a few weeks ago, you're 115 and 5'3". You don't have the calorie or fat stores to lose one to two pounds a week.
Readjust your expectations.11 -
If your maintenance weight is only 1500 then you do not have the stats for an aggressive rate of loss. You would choose 0.5lbs per week which will give you a deficit of 250 calories per day and take you to 1250.

No - you don't get to adjust your daily calorie goal below 1200 because you want to lose weight at "rate xx." 1200 before exercise is a minimum goal for a reason.....helping you meet nutritional guidelines.
People very close to goal lose weight very slowly. It's a pain, but that's reality.6 -
You don't HAVE to cut 500-1000 to lose weight, you could cut 1 calorie from maintenance and still lose weight, you just lose it a lot slower.
If you maintain on 1,500 then you have to accept that to lose weight safely you can "only" cut 300 calories (I say "only" because a deficit of 300 calories is pretty substantial for someone who maintains on 1500 calories), for about .5lb per week loss3 -
Any deficit will work.
Given the above comments, you're 5'3" and 115? You probably have little muscle mass so every little bit of fat is just hanging there... no support. You're better off lifting and gaining muscle. This will allow body fat to actually hold onto something and not just drape down and flap in the wind.
Too often people lose a bunch of weight and then think they're still too fat at even low weights... all because they ignored muscle.7 -
I maintain at 1500 sedentiary and lose weight by making very small deficit. Never have I made 500-1000cal deficit. It's always been 100-300cal. I have lost 30lbs so far.7
