I have been logging into MFP for 2 weeks but did not have my diary open to anyone to see what I was eating and I was only looking to lose the first 27 pounds and would look at where I truly wanted to be at the first goal.

Just logging on has made a difference so now I want to get real I need to lose 60 pounds and am opening up my diary to friends. It is time to face the whole picture and I am looking for friends to support and motivate each other.

I am not going to change my diet to extremes because I will never do that lifelong and the same with exercise. If anyone is on this journey to make small changes for longtime great results please send me a friend request.

With 40 years of dieting I know that extreme anything only works for me for a very short time so I am going to do this one day and one meal at a time. The one commitment I am making is to log into MFP for 365 days in a row - I know I can do that and changes will happen because just logging in and logging what I eat I make better choices if I have to actually look at it.

I'm new to logging foods, too. It's a whole new world for me. Friend request sent.

Logging is hugely important or me, each time I stop the weight comes back on. This time I am in it to win it. I accept your challenge! :-)
  • Hi - Feel free to add me if you wish. Logging in daily seems to help me too - a lot easier than keeping a hand-written journal. You have made a long-term commitment and I think that is great - it becomes a habit (I hope) :)
